Training & Background

Dr Barr graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College, London in 1987 and initially undertook general surgical training in East Anglia (FRCS 1991) before spending a further 2 years training in Plastic Surgery (Norwich and Slough).

He then switched to General Practice (MRCGP 1996) and joined Eastwick Park Medical Practice, Great Bookham as a GP Partner in 1997 where he worked until his retirement from this role in 2019.

Dr Barr has worked at Cobham Day Surgery Unit undertaking Skin Cancer Surgery since 2009.
