He qualified from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in 1978 and trained at various London Hospitals prior to completion of Higher Surgical Training on the South West Thames Rotation working on the Professorial Units at St George’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, the Royal Marsden and outlying District General Hospitals. This included overseas training in Cape Town and on laparoscopic units in France. He has over ten years’ experience of ultrasound scanning and is the Lead Clinician for Thyroid Surgery at Epsom & St Helier’s Trust.
