This section is addressed to GPs and other community clinicians and healthcare commssioners who are considering referring a patient to Cobham Day Surgery.

Background

The Cobham Day Surgery project is a joint undertaking between Epsomedical Group, Surrey PCT and the Friends of Cobham Hospital. It was designed to cut waiting times, bring services out of large district hospitals and closer to patients, and reduce costs for the NHS.

Cobham Day Surgery is funded by Surrey PCT under the terms of a Clinical Services Agreement (CSA) entered into with the former East Elmbridge and Mid Surrey PCT. In return for a limited guarantee on the overall level of surgical activity, Surrey PCT benefits from charges that are well below those charged by NHS Hospitals.
